Industrial Property, and consequently the services of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), are essential elements closely connected to modern business practices.
For this reason, the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) participates for the second year in the three-day innovation event Inno Days 2023: “Innovation Days 2023 – The Crete of Knowledge and Production”, organised by the Region of Crete, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation, from November 24–26, 2023, at the International Exhibition Center of Crete (Gournes, Gouves, Heraklion).
At this year’s InnoDays 2023 innovation event:
- Over 130 exhibition booths will feature companies, organisations, innovation networks, and technology transfer offices from universities and academic/research institutions across Crete.
- Presentations of innovations will be given by companies and collaborative innovation clusters, along with pitching sessions where innovative business initiatives will be presented to potential supporters/investors.
- The “Artemis Saitakis” Innovation Marathon (Hackathon) will be held, honored by the Region of Crete.
- Innovation Awards will be given to Cretan businesses and B2B or B2G meetings will take place between businesses, laboratories and public/private supporting organisations for innovative entrepreneurship.
To support both the research community and the industrial fabric of the wider region, as well as the visitors at Inno Days, specialized staff from OBI will be available at Booth A17.
Visitors to the exhibition, as well as the exhibitors themselves, will have the opportunity to receive informational printed materials and learn about the Organisation’s technological information services, particularly regarding patents, trademarks, and industrial designs.
They will also receive information about:
- The OBI Regional Office in Crete (located at the Scientific and Technological Park of Crete, Foundation for Research and Technology.
- Services provided to universities and research/technology institutes.
- Services available to SMEs and startups.
- The importance of innovation and its role in the economic development of the country.
