The WIPO Global Awards honor outstanding businesses and individuals who make smart use of Intellectual Property to commercialize and promote their innovations in the market, while also making a positive contribution to society through their creativity and innovation.
This year, the competition welcomes startups, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from around the world, operating across all sectors of the economy, to apply – whether in technology, agriculture, creative industries, or any other field.
WIPO is accepting applications from companies that use all forms of Intellectual Property (IP), including patents & geographical indications, copyrights, trademarks, etc.
Each winner will receive a tailored mentorship program focused on enhancing the use of intellectual property, pursuing new business goals, and accessing financial resources to create an even greater impact.
An independent jury will select a group of up to 7 winners. Each of the seven winners will receive an honorary invitation to attend the Awards Ceremony during the WIPO General Assembly in July in Geneva.
