The European Patent Office in collaboration with the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation presented in a unique exhibition all the modern expertise and technical information contained in the patents of the specialized Platform created by the EPO, with the contribution of examiners from OBI, regarding the preservation of the earth and its people from the unfortunately recurring destructive forest fires.
In the interactive exhibition, significant innovative technologies for prevention, protection, combating, and restoration of burned areas were presented for the first time to the general public. The ultimate goal was to preserve the ecological balance of our planet for future generations.
