We are thrilled to have participated TOGETHER, whether by walking or running, in the fight against breast cancer. The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), along with its employees, participated in the major road race, the GREECE RACE FOR THE CURE 2024, as one strong, united team.
The 16th Greece Race for the Cure®, the iconic event against breast cancer, took place on Sunday, September 29, achieving great success and setting a new participation record once again this year.
In the spirit of raising awareness and providing information about breast cancer in Greece, the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois,” with the approval of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® organisation, has been organising the symbolic road race and walk, Greece Race for the Cure®, since 2009.
The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) participated with its executives in the largest sporting event with a social cause in Greece and the second-largest Race for the Cure® event in Europe, organised by the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois,” with the approval of Think Pink Europe®, in collaboration with the Organisation of Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA).
Through the net proceeds of the event, the organisation can offer free psychosocial support programs for women with breast cancer, raise public awareness nationwide about prevention methods and early diagnosis of the disease, and advocate for quality patient care.
