A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) and the Law School of Athens (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – NKUA), within the framework of an informative seminar taking place today at the Alkis Argyriadis Hall of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The cooperation was formalized by the Dean of the Law School of NKUA, Professor Konstantinos Christodoulou, and the General Director of OBI, Mr. Panagiotis Kanellopoulos.
With the aim of strengthening and promoting the industrial development of the country, the application of cutting-edge technologies, and undertaking innovative actions, both parties recognize the importance and added value of their cooperation and the synergies arising from it to promote, implement, encourage, and actively support educational and research activities. They agree to collaborate within a common framework to achieve the objectives of the memorandum, based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.
The informative seminar on “Developments in Intellectual Property Law – Trademarks and Geographical Indications” is co-organized by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and OBI, under the auspices of the historic University.
