The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation ends 2022 with a significant achievement in its history: reaching 1,000 patent applications in a single year, a number double that of 2019 and a record for Greece.
This record highlights a broader and very promising revival of innovation in our country, with ordinary citizens, scientists, and companies transforming new ideas into patents and steadily leading both themselves and Greece towards progress and development.
Our effort is to continually facilitate the daily interaction of citizens with the Organisation. With very high levels of expertise and personalized assistance, full electronic processing of all submission procedures, and the maintenance of short response times, our goal is a friendly and effective approach to the users of our services. Most importantly, what we aim to achieve through our continuous public presence and actions across Greece is to inform the public about Intellectual Property Rights and to increasingly cultivate a culture of protection for them.
