The participation of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation as a State Partner aims to contribute to the 40th anniversary celebration of the Authentic Marathon, as well as the 50th anniversary of the European Patent Convention (EPC), which the great European organisation is marking this year.
The start for the 40th Athens Marathon was given yesterday with the press conference at the impressive and iconic Acropolis Museum, in the “Dimitrios Pandermalis” Amphitheater. Forty days before the Authentic Marathon, the first press conference took place to open this year’s commemorative event, during which the four-day program and new activities were presented.
During the event, the communication logo between OBI and EPO was revealed to the journalists and the attending audience. There was also significant reference to the close European institutional collaborations between Greece and abroad. Additionally, the design of this year’s event medal was unveiled, along with the new bag that runners will receive with all their equipment. The institutional bodies and sponsors supporting the international initiative were also acknowledged.
The Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation and the European Patent Office will participate with their staff at booths in the Marathon Expo at the Faliro Indoor Hall (former Tae Kwon Do stadium) and in the Marathon Village opposite the Panathenaic Stadium, with live broadcasts, audiovisual communication materials at various points in the city, and more.
