The Hellenic Copyright Organisation (HCO), in collaboration with the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) and the Collective Management Organizations for musical works in Greece — “Autodiaxeirisi”, “Union of Rights Holders EDEM”, “Apollon”, “Erato”, and “Grammo” — are once again celebrating World Intellectual Property Day, established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with a special event dedicated to music creation and its ecosystem.
The event will take place at Technopolis City of Athens on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00, at the M. Evert Amphitheater, and will focus on the connection between music and intellectual property. Its aim is to inspire and inform the new generation of creators and performers about various aspects of music creation and production, the role of performers, the impact of artificial intelligence, new digital experiences, and much more. A musical surprise will follow at the end of the event!
