OBI operates as a receiving office for applications for:
- European Patents to protect an invention in any of the 38 Signatories to the Munich Convention (European Patent Convention)
You can also proceed to electronic filing of a European Patent Application directly to the European Patent Office (EPO) in the following electronic address:
https://www.epo.org/applying/online-services.html - International Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) deposits whereby one can request that a patent be issued for any of the Signatories by depositing one application only.
